Healthcare for MassHealth Members

As part of its quality management activities, the Massachusetts Division of Medical Assistance conducts semi-annual surveys of over 4,000 members enrolled in each of the health plans offered to Medicaid beneficiaries. CSR has conducted the MassHealth member survey for the Division five times in the past decade. The surveys involve dual-mode (mail and telephone administration), dual- language (Spanish/English) data collection protocols that employ CAHPS7 instrumentation, required for National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) accreditation. The goal is to measure members' experiences and satisfaction with the medical and behavioral health care they have received.
