Directions to the Center for Survey Research
By Car:
From the North or West:
- Take the Southeast Expressway (Interstate 93 South) to Exit 15 JFK Library/UMASS)
- Turn left onto Columbia Road
- Take the first right as you approach the rotary
- Bear right and follow signs for UMASS/JFK Library (the Boston Globe will be on the right)
- Turn left onto campus
- Park in any available lot/garage on campus
- Follow directions in the box below the campus map to Center for Survey Research
From the South:
- Take the Southeast Expressway (93 North) to Exit 14 (Morrissey Blvd)
- Turn right onto campus
- Park in any available lot/garage on campus

By Public Transportation:
- Take the Red Line Train or MBTA Bus Route #s 8, 16 or 17 to the JFK/UMASS Station.
- Follow the signs to UMASS/JFK Shuttle Buses
- Shuttles are free and run about every 5 minutes from the MBTA Station to the UMASS Campus Center Building
- Follow directions in the box below the campus map to Center for Survey Research
Shuttle Bus Service
From JFK/UMASS Station to UMASS Campus Center & Administration Bldg
- Route 1:
- Shuttle Buses operate, (during semesters) from the UMASS "T" station to the Campus Center building Monday thru Thursday starting at 6:40 am every 3-6 minutes until 9:30pm. After 9:30pm every 12minutes until 11:18pm.
- On Friday the bus service is 3-6 minutes until 6:40pm then every 12 minutes until10:15pm.
- Saturday and Sunday service is every 20 minutes until 6:00pm, then every 12 minutes starting at 6:00pm during semesters until 7:30pm.
- *Sunday bus service will be extended to 8:30pm if the UMass Healey Library is open.
- The Shuttle Bus does not operate on the following holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years, all other holiday service see Route 2.
- Route 2:
- Shuttle Buses operate from the UMASS "T" Station to the JFK library all weekdays and weekends with an interval of approximately 20 minutes. The first stop for the Route 2 buses is the UMASS Administration Building. Buses operate from 8:00am to 5:52pm.
Both Route 1 & Route 2 are free of charge, and are accessible to persons with disabilities. The low floor buses make boarding and deboarding easier for all passengers

The Center for Survey Research is located on the 10th floor
of the Healey Library.
- On-Campus Directions to Center for Survey Research
- All buildings on campus are connected by a catwalk located on the 2nd floor.
- Signs are posted at ceiling level at the entrance to each building. Take any building elevator to the 2nd floor and follow the catwalk until you come to the sign
- Enter the Library and take the elevator to the 10th floor and follow signs to the Center for Survey Research
